Fr Damian - Blessed Mother Teresa in Depew ParishFather Lawrence P. Damian, Pastor

Born and raised in Western New York, Fr. Damian was educated at Our Lady Help of Christians Parochial School, and Bishop Turner High School. He matriculated at The College of Holy Cross in Wooster, Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He came back to the area to attend St. John Vianney Seminary (now Christ the King Seminary) in East Aurora from where he attained a Masters of Divinity degree. He was ordained in 1971 for the Diocese of Buffalo.

As a deacon, his ministries included Mother of Divine Grace Parish, Buffalo State College, and St. Christopher Parish. As a priest he was parochial vicar at Our Lady of Victory Basilica, Holy Family in South Buffalo, St. Bonaventure in West Seneca, St. Gabriel in Elma, St. Brendan in Almond, St. Jude Chapel at Alfred State and University and St. John the Baptist in Alden.

His first pastorate was in 1991 at the three linked parishes of St. Francis Cabrini, in Collins Center and St. Martin in Langford and St. Mary in New Oregon.  His next assignment in 2003 was at St. Michael in Warsaw. Now presently assigned to Blessed Mother Teresa in Depew since 2009.
