Faith Formation

“We are a Faith Family; Let us Practice Together"

Our goal is to help our children and their families to learn about their faith, to live their faith and above all to LOVE their faith.

Lent is almost here and it begins on ASH WEDNESDAY which is March 6th! Ashes will be distributed at the following Masses: 8:00am, 12:10pm, 5:00pm & 7:00pm.  It's with a sincere hope that you recieve ashes at one of the masses listed and to participate with your entire family. EVERYONE, young & older can recieve ashes. Lent is also a time to reflect on the journey Jesus took during theses 40 days. It isnt always about "What we should give up" like sweets, etc. BUT maybe we can look at Lent differently and maybe look at how Jesus treated others. Instead of giving something up why not try doing something for others. Maybe volunteering at a soup kitchen, help at a food drive location, check on your elderly neighbors or ask what you can do to help your parish. Mother Teresa is a good example of what it means to help others. She was a light a beacon of hope for those less fortunate, abandoned or abused. Maybe just maybe we could try just a little to be a beacon of hope for others. May God Bless you and your families as we begin this most Holy time in our Catholic Faith.
