Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

Have you ever wondered what that feeling is you have in your heart, that wanting to belong, the longing to feel loved; it's God letting you know he is here, patiently waiting for you. He wants you to know his arms are outstretched to WELCOME you home! Don't be afraid to SEEK, ASK or to KNOCK.  Let his LOVE fill your heart, let him fill you with PEACE and to HOLD you close. If this is YOU, then its time to Come Home!

Are you SEEKING answers about the Catholic Faith?

Do you have questions to ASK about our Faith?

Don’t be afraid to KNOCK on our door!

We welcome all who ASK, SEEK or KNOCK

“ Come, journey with us as we explore the Catholic Faith together”

"ASK-and it will be given to  you"  "SEEK-and you shall find"  "KNOCK-and the door will be opened"

RCIA means “Rite of Christian Initiation”

The journey provides the following:

  • Faith instruction to any adult over 18 years old who yearns to become a Catholic through the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation & Eucharist.
  • For any adult over 18 who was baptized a Christian(in another faith) and desires FULL sacramental membership in our faith thru Confirmation & Eucharist
  • To anyone who was baptized a Catholic BUT never celebrated Confirmation or Eucharist.

How long does it take?

  • This depends on the person. Each person’s journey is different. Commitment is made in stages. Generally,  un-baptized adults are received at the Easter Vigil and welcomed into our Faith Family by the entire congregation.

Am I committed to becoming a Catholic from the start?

  • No, RCIA is a Journey! The RCIA team is available to help those interested to discern if this is the best path for them at this time.

Adult Confirmation

This program is for adults who have been baptized and received the Sacrament of Eucharist & Reconciliation BUT never received the Sacrament of Confirmation.

  • This group meets on Wednesday evening from 7pm – 8:30pm
  • The program takes approximately 6 weeks to complete
  • The Sacrament of Confirmation is held in the Spring
